Academic Excellence Coordinator - Logan Village Campus
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Christian College Logan Village is seeking a passionate and faith-filled educator to run our Academic Excellence Program, Ad Astra. This is a key part of our program for academic excellence for all students. In particular, Ad Astra, is targeted towards our high potential and high achieving students.
This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative educator who is eager to inspire students to think deeply, aim high, and pursue excellence in both character and learning.
This is a Full Time Contract position until the end of the year.
Successful applicants will:
- Demonstrate an active Christian faith.
- Lead, develop and manage the Ad Astra academic extension program, designing and delivering enriching learning experiences that extend students well beyond the standard curriculum expectations.
- Prepare and guide selected students in Years 4–9 for internal and external academic competitions (e.g., Da Vinci Decathlon and Future Problem Solvers), fostering critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and resilience.
- Collaborate with our teaching and learning team to further develop a strong culture of academic excellence across the College.

Your curriculum vitae should include details for;
- at least 2 recent professional referees
- at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).
ABOUT OUR COLLEGE

Our College currently consists of 3 dynamic campuses, with several more campuses in the planning stages, serving the communities in which they are located.
The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2600 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.
Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 2000 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) currently has over 1000 students on-site, offering places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
