Yearbook Content Assistant
Reporting to: Kaleidoscope Coordinator
Head of Marketing & Enrolments
Purpose of the position:
To assist in the production of the College yearbooks. Working under the direction of the Kaleidoscope Coordinator you will work mainly at the Pimpama campus, but may also work across all campuses from time to time.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Communicate with staff regarding content submissions.
- Edit and format written and graphic submissions.
- Create and edit photographic content.
- Import text and graphics into publishing software templates to create cohesive pages.
- Revise and correct content and layouts.
- Prepare files for publication.
Qualifications and skills:
- Must be detailed-orientated, well organised and have good time management skills.
- Knowledge and some experience with InDesign publishing software.
- Photographic skills are highly desirable.
- The ability to edit photographs using Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop.
- Familiarity with Mac and Microsoft Office Workspace.
- Ability to be self-directed, working independently and as part of a team.
- Very high level of proofreading and editing skills, and ability to apply style guidelines to meet publication standards.
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks to work within time constraints.
- Willingness to undertake training and professional development when required.
- Ability to work flexible hours.

Your curriculum vitae should include details for;
- at least 2 recent professional referees (including your current employer)
- at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2400 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.
Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 1500 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
